I was asked by one of my subscribers what my book will be about. Here is the overview that I wrote for it last weekend. Let me know in the comments below if this sounds like a book you might read. I love to hear from you.
Charlie is a middle-class woman who is married with one daughter from her first marriage to Seth. She likes her life simple, organized and predictable. She suddenly starts having a reoccurring nightmare where a woman is pleading for her help. Soon the plead for help goes beyond her dream and she begins to hear the voice in her waking hours. Is she going crazy? She is desperate to understand what is happing to her. Initially she is motivated to resolve this mystery so that she can go back to getting a decent night’s sleep. But what she discovers on this journey is far more than she could ever have imagined. She will learn the true importance of forgiveness of others and herself.
Meanwhile in the mid 1600’s a horrible murder has happened. John seeks the help of his childhood friend, Fr. Michael to help him clean up the mess of his dead wife and her lover. Love affairs, deceit, a child and true friendship all are entangled in this crime of passion.
