How Does an Engineer Write

So last weekend I finally gave into the strong prompting to begin writing my book again. I decided if I was going to do this than there had to be a way to methodically get this done. I googled some articles on line and learned that:
1. Just write
2. Write everyday
3. If you can, write at the same time and in the same place every day (this one is a bit more challenging)
4. Don't worry about editing as you go
5. Set goals: like when you will complete a chapter or complete the book
6. And lastly set a daily word writing goal
Wow, this really eased my panic about trying to write a book.
There was one more thing I learned and that was to have others join you in your journey. Starting a Blog was my first step to including others.
In future blogs, I will share some more of my "Planning" process and I promise to throw a chapter in for you to read soon.

it’s none of their business that you have to learn to write. Let them think you were born that way. – Ernest Hemingway
