It's been almost 1 year! Where have I been?

September of 2017 I started to work on my book again. I wrote every day for about 2 months. I was so excited to be writing but then I just stopped. So what happened?

Life happened. We had a daughter get married. It was totally awesome. It was about October that we really started getting all the plans together as it was a December wedding. So needless to say, my spare time was re-focussed.

I am happy to say that the wedding was a success! My plan was to start back into my writing as part of my new year's resolution. Oh my, something changed as that didn't happen.

I will tell you what happened. I was asked to play in a quartette. When they gave me the music in January for a mid March performance I realized I had my work cut out for me. Then when I looked at the music, I realized that I had a lot of work to do if I was going to master all the music I was given. So I set my writing aside....again.

The concert went pretty well. I would have like to have played better. It was a great experience! Once the concert was over I still didn't hit the computer and start typing. But by now, I was well into my new job and my lead program manager quit in late March. The torch was passed to me to take over her work. And it has been a whirlwind every since. I regularly work 10+ hour days and sometimes on the weekend. So trying to fit writing in was just not happening.

I often think about getting back to writing and I am working on a plan to fit it back in. It is my INTENTION to complete this book. So send some prayers and light my way as I re-focus myself and allow myself a slice of time each day to write.

PS. I am going to be a Grandmother in October and again in November. I am sure that these new little ones will be a big focus of mine as well. But I can still write!
