In case you are new to my blog site, you might not know that a few of my older blogs provide some previews to the book. So, check out a few of my blogs from Sept 2017 titled:
“Book Teaser” - for a quick synopsis of the book.
“I just finished my first 10K” - for a sample from Chapter 1 of the book
“Wait a minute, I am Meditating” - for a sample from Chapter 2 of the book
What you will discover in these 3 blogs is that this novel has 2 very distinctive storylines.
This past month I have been focused on Charlie’s story. I am soooo close to being done with her story.
What I have discovered on this writing journey is that although I know the big picture of how this story will end, I don’t know the details until I start writing. In Fact as I am writing I feel like I am reading the story for the first time and am never quite sure what will happen next until I have actually written it.
I am excited to say that I am nearing the end of Charlie’s story and can’t wait to learn how everything is going to unfold.
If I keep to my writing plan, I think I should have this story wrapped up by the end of next week. Now that is something to give my self a pat on the shoulder for. My writing plan was to write 330 or more words per day. And here I am at almost 38,000 words. It proves that baby steps can make a difference over time.
I really want to thank all of you out there for cheering me on as I embark on this new creative outlet. I am finding it fun and not as scary as I originally thought.
